What is a House Party?

House parties are a fun way for family, friends and neighbors to learn about current problems with America's election system and how they can help fix or overcome these problems to ensure that the will of the people is heard on election day, November 7, 2006.

How To Host a House Party

1) Pick a date and time to host a party where you will show some video clips and have a discussion. Make sure that your computer can play the clips directly from the links provided below.

2) Invite your friends and relatives. We offer a slide show and three sets of video clips depending on your audience. This is very much a non-partisan issue, so all political persuasions are welcome. A suggested text for your invitation is here. The number of people you invite may depend on your computer screen - better to invite fewer people than to have people squinting to see and unable to hear.

3) Set up your house party space. Make sure you have plenty of chairs and snacks. Have a sign-in sheet and a copy of the video clip summaries for reference.

4) Have everyone gather round to view the following on-line video clips. Select from the menu which set of video clips would best suit your audience.
